Jiangsu TV has announced the premiere of ancient drama God of Lost Fantasy (太古神王) in June (no specific date) with two episodes airing every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 22:00 p.m. It is the second xianxia series from the producers of The Jade Sword.
The 60-episode fantasy drama adaptation stars Sheng Yi Lun (Oh My General), Wang Ziwen (When a Snail Falls in Love), Jacky Heung (League of Gods), Tang Jingmei (Lost Love In Times), Chen Mengqi (The Flame of Youth), etc.
Brief synopsis:
Born of the Qin family, Qin Wentian is percieved to be a mediocre person since childhood and so his parents was forced to send him to the affluent Bai family for adoption who in return promised their daughter’s hand in mariage. However, the Bai family not wanting to keep the promise because of greed planned to kill Qin Wentian who luckily escapes to Jiuhua Sect, and befriends his master’s daughter Mo Qingcheng and crown prince Yi Wuwei, who was in hiding.
