The drama adaptation of popular c-novel Moon On Fire with the working titleAnd The Winner Is Love (月上重火 ) has confirmed its lead stars to be Leo Luo and Yukee Chen. The two have worked previously in the highly rated fantasy romance drama Ashes of Love where they are part of the main cast. The wuxia, romance drama will have 50 episodes directed by Cui Liang and written by Rao Jun.
It tells the story of the young mistress of Chong Hu palace, Chong Xuezhi who was evicted after the palace treasure Shen Lian Jiu Shi was stolen. She survived a series of assassination attempts and was saved by the master of Yue Shang Pavilion, Shangguan Tou. The two formed a strong bond and worked together to defeat the enemies and bring peace back to the pugilistic world.
Filming is expected to start in April at Hengdian Studios with 120 days of filming scheduled.
