Earlier this year, rumors regarding the supposed “secret” relationship between Chinese actors Yang Yang (Love 020) and Qiao Xin (Ode to Joy) were firing up weibo. Netizens scrutinized a post which openly declared admiration for the actor that says:
“I stubbornly like you. After tomorrow and until the end of day.”
Later, netizens claimed that this user is actually Qiao Xin herself. Yang Yang also posted a message which netizens claimed has something to do with Qiao Xin. But after news of their suspected romance broke out, the related posts have been deleted. Why delete them if not true?
However, the rumor did not stop there. Back in February, several onlookers claimed that they saw the couple together in London on Valentines Day. They had dinner and Yang Yang even went on to buy Qiao Xin a luxury bag worth thousands. To this report, their studio replied that they merely old classmates and that the rumors are simply untrue.
So what say you? Do you think they are actually dating? If they were, I’d feel sorry for the Yang Yang-Zheng Shuang shippers but I’d bee really happy for the “couple”. They are both at the right age to date and have a serious relationship. But Yang Yang, being an idol, makes it hard for him to expose any romantic relationships especially at this point in his career.
