You may recall that Victoria Song and Leo Luo played brother and sister in the xianxia drama A Lifetime Love (上古情歌) back in 2017 where she played the female lead opposite Huang Xiao Ming while he played a supporting role. Fast forward to 2019 and we have these two headlining the upcoming workplace drama Broker (致命邂逅) not as siblings but as romantic interests. What a difference a year makes eh?
Yesterday, the production team released the first character stills from the said drama which also stars Xu Kai Cheng, fresh from his successful web drama Well Intended Love, as the second-male lead Qin Bin. The stills doesn’t say much but it does give off a smart, methodical vibe especially among the leads which is apt for their roles as scientific researchers.
